Oh, come on!  Everyone has some pretencious band from highschool that they took too seriously at the time.  So what if ours was one that had lyrics suggesting a 1930's mobster lifestyle.  At least we did the Munsters song! 

Seriously though, our friends owe a lot to the Tommy Guns.  It has been argued that some of us would never have found eachother.  Personally, I think it was the common ground interest in underage drinking and crappy music.

I have a hard time mocking the Tommy Guns because it was a hell of a learning experience for me.  Actually, I could barely play bar chords at the start of this band.  More importantly, the freindships formed and drama endured were amazingly formative in my own development as a person and a musician.
